We offer carefully selected fresh bait such as iwashi (sardines), saba (mackerel), and aji (horse mackerel) from all over Japan, sourced from regionally frozen locations, as feed for domestic tuna farms. These tuna are meticulously raised in the Amami region of Kagoshima Prefecture.

At the farming facility, the most crucial feeding process is carried out using a technique known as “tago-maki” (hand-feeding), where a boat containing feed boxes is secured at the center of the pen, and the tuna are allowed to swim around it while being fed. This method avoids the use of machinery. Tuna that have grown by consuming this feed are then sold to both domestic and overseas markets for consumption.
